Monday (4-16-07) I drove to Chicago to hang out with my girl, Freakymommy. We went to the mall, scoped out the Border's where the signing was to be held, got some flyers for the signing, did some shopping, and had our Starbucks fix. Later that evening, we met up with Sandyb and Sammie.
We had alot of fun. Freakymommy is headed to Cali. I miss her so much. We are really getting close. I would have to consider her my new best friend. Woot! I must give her a shout out and say Here's to many more good times in Vegas. MAGIC PICKLES ROCK! Luv ya!

4/9/07 2 CommentsLoyal Week Wraps Up
Loyal week pretty much wrapped up Thursday night (3-22-07). They still did some taping Friday and Saturday; but I was so tired that all I wanted to do was rest. So that's what I did. During the day, I just rested, then at night us girlies got together and hung out.
Loyal week was an amazing week and a time that I won't soon forget. I am looking forward to the premiere of Season 3. I am also looking forward to my trip to Barbados. I am trying to plan that one out still. lol

4/9/07 0 CommentsLoyal Week Day 3 (3-21-07)
Day 3 consisted of no sleep from the night before. All us girlies met back up in Kristen's room to get ready for that evenings taping. This was the day that Criss was to give the car away to one lucky winner.
The taping took place down at Caesar's Palace within the Forum Shops. When we got there, we got out our VIP membership card, so that we could go in first and without having to pay. This taping was open to the public. They brought everyone into the Expo area where the cars were, did a little taping of the crowd, and then announced that everyone would have to go back out and would be let back in shortly. This irritated alot of people and they didn't want to cooperate. After it started getting out to control, people not listening, trying to tape behind the curtain,etc; Kristen, Kim, and myself were asked by the Production Crew to guard the entrance gate and if any problems were to arise to let them know.
Finally, after a pretty good wait, we were all let back in. During this time, Criss did some taping introducing the four finalists and explaining what that show was about. Still I won't get into detail, you will just have to watch the third season. I will tell you this; Criss made the car to be given away appear out of no where and the winner of the car was Loyal Mica! Woot!
After the taping wrapped up, five other Loyals and myself went out to eat @ the Steakhouse in the Luxor. We hadn't eatten well in days, so we were so hungry. After a wonderful, fun & laughing filled dinner we all said goodnight. Then a few of us went out for drinks!

Morning came early; but I was excited to get started.
I had to pick up Kristen (Freakymommy) from the airport and get to meet her for the first time. I really don't remember everything that I done that day outside of Criss related things.
Finally, the time had arrived for me to go get Kristen and Kim stayed at the hotel to rest and get ready for that nights events. When Kristen finally arrived, we loaded up in the car and headed for the Luxor. We got to the Luxor, settled her things into her room, and called Kim to let her know that we were on our way to get her.
After we picked up Kim, we knew we had to get back to the Luxor for that evenings taping. Which Kristen had been called to be a part of. WOOT! As we drove down the boulevard, we were playing MF2. Each time the song said, "Mindfreak", we would scream it out the windows. (Kim and I had decorated the car with shoe polish on the windows that said: "Criss Angel Mindfreak, Save a Horse Ride a Mindfreak, and Vegas or Bust". We also had the logo all over the car.)
When we got back to the Luxor we went down to the Production office to get ready for the taping. I'm not going to go into details about the illusion that he performed that night. You will just have to watch the 3rd season. But I will tell you this: I was in this episode, Kristen (freakmommy) and her tattoo are in this episode and it has something to do with decks of cards.
After the taping wrapped up, Criss held a signing at the store and I got the shirt that I wore on the first episode I was in signed.
Once the signing was finished, we all went out and had a good time! AURORA LOUNGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kim and I left for Vegas on Saturday (3-17-07). We had nearly 2,000 miles to travel. Yes, we drove. Talk about dedicated. lol
We stopped in Des Moines, Iowa on Saturday night. We got to our hotel and with it being St. Patty's Day, we decided to have a few drinks. We ate at the hotel's resturant and had a margarita with our meal. After we ate, we decided to get one more margarita for our room.
When we got up to our room, we sat down and started talking about how excited we were about our trip to Vegas. By this time, it was nearly 11pm and our drink was running low. We took off running back downstairs to get one last drink before the bar closed. To make a long story short, we ended up getting tipsy and because we couldn't drive, we decided to sit in the car and crank up the tones. We sung our little hearts out and then went back to our room. We both laid down and fell asleep as we talked.
Morning came calling very soon. We were running a little bit behind; but got it together pretty fast and was on the road by 10am (central time). We drove and drove and drove and drove and drove some more. We were determined to get to Vegas by early morning. After driving all day and all night, we finally arrived at our hotel @ 5am Monday.
We were excited to be there yet tired. Kim said she wanted to sleep awhile. I thought she was crazy; cause I was so hyped up. I just wanted to get to the Luxor. lol I decided that I would take a shower and rest a while myself. I slept for about 1 and 1/2 hours, then was up ready to go. It was hard getting Kim motivated; but I did.
While Kim was in the shower, Kristen (Freakymommy) called me. She told me that she had gotten word that they were wanting to tape people with Criss related tattoos. I called the production office and they put Kim and me on the list to be in the taping. We were to be there by 730pm.
As soon as Kim got out of the shower, we got everything together and headed down to the Luxor. When we got there, we took a trip to the production office and Official store. After that excitement, we decided to do a few things before we had to be back for taping.
Finally, 6pm arrived and we were back in front of the production office waiting for the taping. We stood around talking to other Loyals and people that had heard about the taping. We mingled with the crew and Brice kept us hyped up.
I don't remember exactly what time it was; but finally Criss came to the production office. Everyone was screaming, going wild, and snapping pictures. He went into the production office to hold a meeting. We all stood around and finally the crew directed us to go down to the Official store for the taping. We all crowded around and preceded to wait. Finally, they started setting everything up and Will (new person of the crew) handed our tickets randomly to the audience. I got one!!!!!
After a bit of a wait, they announced Criss arriving and the crowd went wild. He welcomed all of us and then talked about the tickets that had been handed out. He had a hat with the other part of the tickets in it. He placed the hat above his head and randomly selected tickets out of the hat. He began to selected tickets and had to read the number at least 3 times before people realized they were holding the ticket. lol I couldn't keep my eyes off mine. After doing about 2 tickets, a Loyal with a Criss tattoo on her arm, demanded Criss' attention and he decided to put her on the show too. Criss' attention got drawn to my tattoo of his face on my leg. He said to determine which one of us would get to be on the show, he would ask us a question and which ever one of us had the right answer, would get to be on the show. The question was, "Which piece of bling was one of his first and that was very important to him?" (Answer: Cross with his dad's initials and the word 'Believe'). He looked at both answers and said to forget it, we both would be on the show. By this point I was stoked. While the crew was busy getting another chair and dry erase board, someone told Criss about Kim's tattoo. He brought her up to be on the show too. After we were all settled, he preceded in telling us what was about to happen.
There was a $8,000 prize up for the winning. We didn't know what it was; but were very excited to find out. He told us that we would go through three phases of questions. First, he decided to eliminate 2 contestants by asking us to draw his signature. That was very interesting. Needless to say, he let us all stay cause he didn't think that was a fair way to decide. He asked us the following question: "What are the names of his pets on season 1 and 2 and what are they?" Answer: Minx and Hammy which are both cats. This question elminated us down to three people. Sherry (girl with Criss tattoo on arm), Kim, and myself. He told us that the phases were about to start. The first phase would consist of 5 questions worth 1 point each. The two contestants that had the most points would go on to phase 2. To be honest, I can't recall all the questions. It was a very long week. lol
Criss had us show our answers and tallied up the points. Sherry and I were still in the running and Kim was eliminated. It was time for phase 2. Criss said that this round would consist of 4 questions worth 5 points each. After asking the questions, he had us reveal our answers. Sherry was elminated and I was on to the third round. Toni (Criss' makeup artist) began throwing shredded paper on me. (Homemade confetti.)
Phase 3: Criss came over to me and said that I hadn't won yet. He explained to me and the crowd that before coming to the taping, he had made a prediction and placed it in an envelope and sealed it. Then he signed the outside. He asked me to take the envelope and place it in my pocket (sticking out) so that the audience could see it at all times. Then he took out a little globe. He explained to me that I was to take a marker and mark any place on the globe with a dime size circle; but the fun part was, I was to do it behind my back without looking. Before doing so, he showed the audience and camera the globe so that they could see that it was just a normal mini globe. He then handed me the globe. I placed the globe behind my back and made a circle. Criss had me bring the globe back around and hold it to where we could read it. He pointed at where I had made the circle and asked me to read what it said. It was Barbados. He then asked me to remove his prediction from the envelope. I was shaking at this point. I carefully opened the envelope and removed the paper inside. When I opened it, it said, "BARBADOS!" I could have hit the floor. This man is amazing! He looked at me and said, "Christina, you have won an all expense paid, trip for two to Barbados!" I was in such a shock. Confetti was flying everywhere. The atmosphere was full of excitement. He grabbed me and kissed me twice. He asked me who I was taking on the trip, etc. Then we finished up the taping. He held a signing after the taping; but before I could do that it was off for an interview. The interview consist of so much excitement and how I was feeling. After the interview, I got to go talk with Criss. My pic on here was from that night.
Kim and I decided to go celebrate. We went and had a couple of drinks. We kept saying Barbados. It still hadn't sunk in. Actually, it still totally hasn't. Finally, after a few drinks and relaxing, we went back to our room to sleep and get ready for day 2.
